Come with us for a unique visit to Mexico City. Join us in our exclusive and international history focused tour. Discover the legacy of the Mexican-American War and the neighborhoods which it spanned through the city. We also strive to show you some of the hidden secrets left on the way. Fully chauffeured and guided tour, entrance tickets to all attractions and lunch are included.
What you'll do
In this private, guided, tour encircling Mexico City. We will take you on a special route to all highlights which include the Churubusco, Molino del Rey and Chapultepec battlegrounds.
We will learn of the US-Irish defectors that came to fight on the Mexican side and formed the Saint Patrick's Batallion.
The route followed by the US Army will be the back bone of our whole visit. 95% of the attractions lie along of it.
We will learn how two of the army generals, Taylor and Grant, later became US presidents after a war that was fiercely opposed by Rep. Abraham Lincoln.
Not only will we visit the Lincoln monument but those of Washington and MLK Jr., as well..
We will understand how the theory of Manifest Destiny became the excuse for this war led by President Polk.
We will visit the first ever US National Cemetery which guards the remains of those US soldiers which died on foreign soil.
Where you'll be
We will pick you up at your accommodation within the Mexico City limits before heading south to Churubusco, where the experience begins. We will visit the former convent that served as a fortress for the Mexican Army. Then we will embark on a circle tour of town for the rest of the experience.

Any experience can be canceled at least 7 days before the experience starts for a refund minus a 20% processing charge. Rescheduling and changes can be made at least 3 days before the experience starts. Refunds are counted from the original date of purchase.
Guest requirements
Guests ages 18 and up can attend. Up to 10 guests ages 18 and up can attend. Face masks are obligatory in enclosed spaces.
Weather
This experience goes weather rain or shine. In case of rain, our tour will make its best to spend as much time as possible indoors. In case of unforeseen closure of streets or venues, we are always prepared with an equivalent or alternate route.
